Liberty Campbell, Director of Highway 7 Community Outreach, is a lifelong resident of western Letcher County and has been actively involved daily in the community since February 2023. Along with other like-minded community members, Ms. Campbell co-created the Highway 7 Community Outreach Corporation which is housed in a renovated 100-year-old two room schoolhouse. The goal of the outreach is to assist the community with any needs they may have such as household supply needs, and food insecurity issues. Ms. Campbell has volunteered with Antique Alley, the Route 7 Artisan Center, and the Jeremiah Flood Relief Center.

Bonita Adams, program director, is a KAC Community Scholar; board member of the Oak Tree Academy, an early childhood education center in Whitesburg, Kentucky; and former Route 7 Artisan Fellowship organizer and board member. Mrs. Adams has created and implemented several folk-art grant programs for early childcare development, elementary education, and in community-oriented settings for both children and adults. She has worked with many local artists in Letcher and surrounding counties, and collaborated with local, state, and college level art programs to bring quality folk art programs to the community and increase awareness of the unique Appalachian culture to citizens of Letcher County and beyond.
